What each job will show
- The kind of job, such as a switchboard upgrade, an EV charger or a rewire of an older villa.
- The suburb or town, never the street address.
- Photos the electrician took, shown only with their written OK.
- What they found and what they changed, in plain words.
- Which certificates it needed: an Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC), a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for general work, and a Record of Inspection for high-risk work.
- The month the work was done.
How a job gets onto this page
The electrician has to say yes in writing before any of their photos appear. Someone at Sparky Next Door looks at every photo first, and anything that could identify the homeowner, like a letterbox or a house number, stays off.
We also check the electrician's practising licence on the public register before their work goes up. They aren't named beside the photos, which keeps the page about the work rather than turning it into an advert.
Until there's something real here
If you want to know what a properly finished job leaves behind, look at the paperwork. Our guide to electrical certificates explains which certificate comes with which job, and how it works shows what happens after you send us yours.
